Child Sexual Abuse

Child sexual abuse is sexual conduct, exploitation, or exposure involving a person who is under the age of legal consent or otherwise cannot legally consent. It can involve physical contact, images, online conduct, grooming, trafficking, or abuse by a trusted adult or older youth. Criminal definitions vary by jurisdiction. A civil claim may examine the conduct of the perpetrator and whether an institution or other responsible party failed to protect the child.
