Katrina L. Wallace
I have been an attorney at The Yost Legal Group since 2013. I represent people injured by the negligence of others, primarily focusing on lead poisoning, brain injuries, and other serious injuries. I have represented over 100 children poisoned by lead paint while participating in research experiments conducted by Johns Hopkins and Kennedy Krieger Institute. I enjoy getting to know my clients and working with them to tell their stories to prevent Defendants from continuing to make dangerous choices that injure innocent people.
I attended the University of Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the University of Baltimore School of Law. I have been admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland since 2008. Before entering private practice, I served as Law Clerk to the Honorable William Mulford, III in Anne Arundel County, Maryland and to the Honorable William O. Carr in Harford County, Maryland. I worked on lead poisoning cases defending landlords before I joined the Yost Legal Group where I learned how insurance companies handle and evaluate cases.
I am active in the Maryland Association for Justice, serving on the Public Relations and Trial Reporter Committees. I am also active in the Bar Association for Baltimore City where I serve on several committees. I volunteer as a tutor with Reading Partners working with Baltimore City elementary school students who struggle with reading. I reside in Baltimore, Maryland and enjoy dog training and long-distance running.
