Baltimore, MD (February 27, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Baltimore area late Thursday evening ended in injuries. Just after 11:40 p.m., on February 24, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 895.

Reports from the Baltimore Police Department indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked the northbound side of Interstate 895 near exit 12 for Lombard Street. The incident caused delays in the area due to its blocking of all northbound lanes.

At least one person suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for medical care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
