Car Accidents in Maryland

Every month, close to 10,000 people are involved in motor vehicle accidents in the state of Maryland. The majority of these accidents result in injuries. People who are involved in crashes are likely to suffer serious injuries that require extensive medical care.

Many victims have to go through immediate medical treatment after their accidents. This can include being transported to an area hospital, put through emergency surgery, and required to remain hospitalized for several days or even weeks. Depending on the type or severity of injuries, victims may have to take several weeks off work and go through therapy and rehabilitation.

Although there are many treatment options available for victims in the aftermath of auto accidents, they come at a significant cost. Most people do not have tens of thousands of dollars lying around that they want to spend on medical treatment that they require due to the negligence of another motorist.
