Frederick, MD (March 8, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Frederick area on Monday evening ended in injuries. Just before 5 p.m., on March 7, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a traffic-related incident on Progress Drive.

Reports from local authorities indicate that a collision between vehicles occurred at the intersection of Progress Drive and Gas House Pike. The incident caused delays throughout the area of Riverside Corporate Park as crews worked to clear the scene.

At least one person was transported to an area hospital where they underwent emergency medical treatment for their injuries.
