Gaithersburg, MD (March 1, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported near the Rio Washingtonian Center sent one person to a local hospital with injuries. Just after 7:20 p.m., on March 1, the police and emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Washington Boulevard.

Reports provided by the police in Gaithersburg indicate that a pedestrian was walking in front of the Target Store, located in the 9800 block of Washingtonian Boulevard. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a vehicle.
