Millersville, MD (February 20, 2022) – Just after 12 p.m., on February 18, emergency crews in the Millersville area were requested on-site at a crash on Interstate 97.

Reports from the police indicate that a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer were involved in an auto accident on Interstate 97 southbound just past the overpass for Millersville Road.

The pickup truck went off the side of the roadway and overturned in the woods.

The semi-truck sustained minor damage.

Two victims were injured in the accident and transported to area hospitals for medical care.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
