Concussion
A concussion is a type of mild traumatic brain injury caused by a blow, jolt, or force that disrupts normal brain function. Symptoms can include headache, dizziness, confusion, memory problems, light sensitivity, sleep changes, or emotional changes. Some symptoms appear later, and routine imaging can be normal. A medical diagnosis is important. In a legal claim, records and expert opinions may help connect the symptoms and functional limitations to the event.
