Attorney Tom Yost is the Principal and Founder of The Yost Legal Group. Tom built a law firm with the sole purpose in mind of representing people who have been significantly harmed from the conduct of, or choices made by irresponsible people and corporations. Tom personally concentrate on cases where there has been toxic exposure, harm from defective medical devices or pharmaceutical drugs, and cases involving catastrophic injury.

Tom has represented several hundred women in diet drug litigation and recovered over $80 Million from a pharmaceutical company. For over 25 years, Tom has represented children who have been neurologically harmed by lead-paint exposure, collecting over $100 Million in settlements and verdicts. He has handled cases involving wrongful death from the railroad, a traumatic brain injury from a school bus, and cerebral palsy, hypoxic ischemia encephalopathy, and Erb’s palsy from poor hospital care just to name a few.

Attorney Yost is the past-President of the Maryland Association for Justice, a 1,300-member trial lawyer association, and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer. Tom has publicly presented at seminars to educate other lawyers on how to advocate for the injured and vulnerable.
