Personal Injury

Personal injury is physical, emotional, or psychological harm for which civil law may provide a remedy. Claims can arise from vehicle collisions, unsafe property, defective products, professional negligence, workplace hazards, or intentional misconduct. An injury alone does not establish a claim. The plaintiff generally must identify a legally responsible party, prove the required elements, connect the conduct to the harm, and document damages within the applicable deadline.
